Today marked the completion of a recent OptoSplash project: mnalternatives.com. We were contacted by the company's founder Paula DeSanto who was looking for a redesign of Minnesota Alternatives' original site.
We helped the company migrate to a new host which could handle the technologies required and undertook the task of creating a website which gave the company a stronger identity on the web.
Not only did Paula want to have a new website, she also wanted a platform to launch a grassroots community which will be dedicated to bringing about a paradigm shift to the field of substance abuse.
So, we wrapped Minnesota Alternatives fresh design around a robust, flexible and extremely user friendly content management framework, we then were able to aid Minnesota Alternatives in leveraging the power of social networking by tying the website's RSS feed into their newly customized Twitter account and installing a powerful comments platform which was specifically designed to, not only promote discussion, but involve visitors as a community.
With the new control they have over their website's content, Minnesota Alternatives will be able to keep their clients and visitors updated with news regarding the company, informative articles and a blog to promote discussion.
We wish the best for Minnesota Alternatives, and we sincerely hope their new website will be the perfect tool to help them achieve their business goals.
